If you message us on WhatsApp or email us directly, we see whatever you choose to share, typically your phone number or email address, your name, and the details of your inquiry.

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically collect some technical data when you visit, such as your approximate location, browser type, device type, and which pages you viewed.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them, and allow our hosting and advertising partners to use them, for things like remembering your preferences, understanding how visitors use the site, and showing relevant ads. We intend to show ads on this site through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. We don't sell your personal information. We may share inquiry details with our licensed partner agency, only when you've asked to be referred for a viewing or purchase. We also use third-party service providers to run this site, including website hosting, our WordPress content backend, and (in future) Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for traffic insight. These providers may process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

7. Data retention

We keep inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and maintain our own records, then delete it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Contact us and we'll sort it out.

9. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. International visitors

We're based in Kenya and many of our readers are elsewhere, including the diaspora audience we write for. By using this site, you understand your information may be processed in Kenya or by service providers located in other countries.

We may update this policy as the site grows, for example once AdSense or new analytics tools go live. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
